I have learned that I have the power to change my day from bad to good by simply changing the way I think. You may not be able to change your circumstance, but you can change your thoughts. I will keep things practical because I am a mom and I think many other moms can relate to what I am going to share today. If we can accomplish this strategy or tip with our everyday practical life, we can certainly apply it to all circumstances in our lives.
Have you ever felt like you do not know what you are doing? Do you feel like maybe you are not qualified to do something you have been called to do? It is funny how thoughts of insecurity can cause you doubt yourself. I have been there, lost in those thoughts. I have felt the anxiety that they bring when they settle in my mind. One morning when I was feeling like this I came across Psalm 86:11
I do not know if you may be going through something. I hope my story will give you hope. I pray that you will humble yourself under his plan, even if it hurts. Know that at just the right time He will come through. Understand that if you do not cast your cares to him and hold not to something that is not yours, you will miss out on his blessings. I may not have planned to go through everything I went through, but without a test, I would not have a testimony. Without a testimony I cannot help someone else going through their trial. My trial has purpose. It has made me stronger in my faith and I stand steadfast on Him who loves me. Trust God with your heart, even when it hurts.
