This morning I was going through my Instagram feed and ran across a lady with such an inspirational feed. You can find her @fitforhisglory. She shares God’s word in her posts. Today it reminded me how powerful God’s word is. It can speak to so many different people going through completely different things. His word speaks life to those that are ready to give up. It speaks strength to those that feel weak. It speaks joy to those that are crying out.
In this particular post she states Zephaniah 3:17:
“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
She went on to write: “He delights in seeing you be BRAVE and COURAGEOUS. He delights in seeing you succeed and be bold. He is literally cheering you on and smiling from ear to ear when he sees you win your worth and strength and take a big scary step.”
God does want us to succeed. He has planned for us to do great things, but the enemy will have you think otherwise. God’s word says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We are his masterpiece and are created anew in Christ so that we can do the good things He has planned.
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
God wants you to succeed. He has good plans for you. He will calm your fears when you are about to take that big scary step. Do not listen to the lies of the enemy. Those lies that say you are not good enough. The lies that bring back your past and say that you have made too many mistakes. The lies that bring fear by saying that people are looking, and they do not believe in you. The lies that remind you that you gave up once. The lies that say it is too hard just to discourage you. In those times, remind yourself whose you are, stand up straight, and be courageous. He is with you.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
You are called to do great things, because you are His creation and His greatness is in you. Be bold, be courageous, be strong, and be fearless!
